If your car clicks, or sounds like you have popcorn in your front wheels when you pull out of driveways, you may need CV joints.  Drive axle failure can leave you stranded.  Every time you have you oil changed, ask the tech to check the CV boots.  If they are cracked, they will sling out the grease in about 8 hours drive time.  Once the grease is gone, you will cause damage to the steel parts in the axle.  If you have a boot that is torn, we can replace the boot without replacing the axle.  But once the axle makes noise, it  is too late.  So have the CV boots check regularly.  If you don't have a FWD car,  you will probably have universal joints.  If your car or truck squeaks when you start driving, you may have a problem.  So come on down to Discount Brake & Muffler and ask Everett or Chris to check your CV boots, or Universal Joints for free.
